The Apple iPhone sparked a revolution for the next wave of handheld cell phones. This electronic device has some innovative features that will attract the tech savvy consumer as well as the average person because it’s user-friendly touch screen technology appeals to anyone in The Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
Apple Inc. reported that it and its phone company partners took orders for more than 600,000 iPhone 4s in one day, the highest number it's ever seen, despite widespread problems getting orders through overwhelmed computer systems.
The iPhone comes preloaded with a YouTube player that currently plays about 10,000 videos that have been reformatted for the iPhone's screen. The launch of the first iPhone model a year ago boosted interest in the technology tremendously, and the updated model now available will take the enthusiasm further. Now touch-screen manufacturers are going flat out, and more devices will soon be controlled by the tip of your finger.
Touch screens are the ideal solution for maximizing screen size while keeping gadgets small. They also make for easy-to-use devices, because each application can present its own specific controls, rather than relying on hardware buttons shared with other applications.
The next iPhone comes out June 24 and will have a higher-resolution screen, longer battery life and thinner design.
